Last night at our Midweek Fellowship I made mention of Always Be Ready ministry with Charlie Campbell, a Calvary Chapel pastor and a popular apologetic speaker. Charlie’s website is at www.alwaysbeready.com and you’ll find a lot of helpful resources, both free and for sale. If you visit his Rapture page at www.alwaysbeready.com/rapture you’ll find some helpful articles and handouts. Below, I’ve listed some of the free instant download timelines that he offers on his site… • A Timeline of Biblical History http://www.alwaysbeready.com/images/stories/alwaysbeready/Timeline%20of%20Biblical%20History,%208.5%20x%2011.pdf • Daniel’s 70 Weeks http://www.alwaysbeready.com/images/stories/alwaysbeready/Daniel_Seventy_Weeks_Timeline.pdf • The 70 Weeks and Daniel 9 http://www.alwaysbeready.com/images/stories/alwaysbeready/Daniel_Seventy_Weeks_Timeline.pdf • A Biblical Timeline of End Times Events http://media.alwaysbeready.com/library/campbell-charlie/studies-topical/prophecy/prophecy%20chart%20inside%2C%20updated%20june%202007.pdf … Continue reading →
Yesterday we looked at John 2:13-25 “Jesus Cleanses the Temple” and we discussed God’s grace in the Passover, being angry without sinning (Ephesians 4:26) the Temple and it’s message of transference to Jesus Christ, those who want a “sign” rather than a scripture, the hard truth that every man has a heart intent on evil (Jeremiah 17:9), and how the action of holy wrath on the part of our Lord is similar in a smaller scale to the wrath to be unleashed upon the wicked in the tribulation. I’m still thinking about John 2:1-12 and yesterday’s teaching time, because I’m taking comfort in knowing that Jesus turned water to wine. It’s amazing when you consider that Jesus created something out of nothing. He took impure water from an impure cistern used for self righteous regulation and recreated it into refreshingly drinkable grace – wine. So think about this next time you find yourself in doubt with your own cistern of self and feeling that it’s hopeless, or it’s impossible, or it’s doomed, or it’s worrisome, whatever that “water” is in you just do as Jesus says and draw in faith and see Him turn your life and those circumstances into refreshing drinkable wine.
Q: If the Anti-Christ is to be revealed first, before the church is raptured, wouldn’t that favor the post-tribulation position? Paul responds to correct them of this thinking in 2 Thessalonians 2:1-12. Here are some thoughts on this… • Paul instructed the Thessalonians to not be deceived by those who are saying the tribulation … Continue reading →
